One thing you learn when taking nature closeups: spiders are everywhere. Almost any flower photo taken outdoors will have spider silk strands somewhere.

This section is by no means a catalogue of spiders of the Olympic Peninsula. Instead, I highlight some species I have been able to photograph by luck, such as Habronattus jucundus, or by learning where they can be found in the north Olympic Peninsula, as I have with Habronattus hirsutus.
